Common questions
Where do deleted photos go? Everything the app removes goes to Photos’ Recently Deleted album, where it stays recoverable for around 30 days. The app never bypasses this.
Why didn’t a video get smaller after compressing? The app refuses to replace a video unless the re-encoded file is genuinely smaller. Some clips are already efficiently encoded — those are reported as “already optimal” and left untouched.
Does the app upload my photos anywhere? No. Analysis (duplicate detection, compression) runs entirely on your device. The app makes no network calls with your data. See the privacy policy.
How do I cancel my subscription? On iPhone/iPad: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Mac: System Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Choose Photo Storage Saver Pro → Cancel. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
